The oil has a distinctive nutty flavour, similar to sunflower seeds. Add it to any dish as a flavour enhancer, use it in sauces, dips (houmous, pesto, marinades) and salad dressings.
It’s also a great alternative to olive oil, butter and spreads.
Warning: Don’t fry with it! Heating the oil above 120°C will affect all the good things inside it. It’s not dangerous, just a bit of a waste.
You can also give yourself a spoonful a day for an easy way to get all the nutritional benefits. The oil is equally wonderful as a moisturiser – great news for any accidental spillages.
Not suitable for infants under 12 months. They’ll just have to be patient.
