This Scottish oatmeal can be used as a baking ingredient in oatcakes, pancakes, muffins, cookies and bread.
In savoury dishes, use in place of breadcrumbs for coatings. It's also great for thickening up soups and stews.
The Oatmeal of Alford
The Oatmeal of Alford grow their oats in the sun-drenched fields of Aberdeenshire. Once harvested, the oats are then kiln-dried and graded at the farm before being transported to Montgarrie Mill, where they are milled into the oat products we’re familiar with.
The bi-products of the milling process, chaff and husks, are compressed into pellets which are used as feed for their livestock.

Ingredients
100% Gluten Free Organic Oats
All Oatmeal of Alford products are grown in gluten-free surroundings and harvested and processed using dedicated, gluten-free equipment and facilities.
To ensure high standards are maintained, each batch is independently tested to <5ppm gluten.
Although gluten free, all oats contain avenin, a protein which can affect a small number of coeliac sufferers.
