Loch Arthur's Farmhouse Cheese is a traditional cloth-bound cheddar-type made with unpasteurised milk from their own biodynamic farm and local organic farms. 

This Scottish cheese can be sliced through a sandwich, molten on a toasties, or in wonderfully creamy sauce for macaroni pie!

Loch Arthur

Loch Arthur is a working community of adults with learning disabilities. The community is situated on the outskirts of Dumfries, on the shores of Loch Arthur itself, and is home to over 75 people, around 30 of which are in supported tenancies. As part of the Camphill Community, Loch Arthur is “committed to the fulfilment of the individual through a diversity of relationships and activities which create authentic social integration” – and there’s no shortage of opportunity to do so, with a farm, creamery, bakery, gardens, craft workshops, farm shop and café. It truly is a shared way of life in a modern rural community, and we’re so pleased to support Loch Arthur as both of one of our customers and suppliers – we urge you to visit if you can!
