Made through collaboration, care, and respect for the land, it captures their belief that real food begins with real people and honest ingredients. Certified Organic and proudly Scottish, this butter is wrapped in greaseproof paper. 

Mossgiel Organic Dairy

Well renowned across the Central Belt for their organic cream top milk, Mossgiel Farm do dairy differently, operating a cow-with-calf pasture-for-life based system.

Established in 1948 they historically supplied ‘big dairy’, shifting over to organic when milk prices collapsed. They now farm regeneratively and organically, and alongside their own herd of Ayrshire cows on their family farm in Mauchline, Mossgiel have grown their enterprise to include the output of another five Scottish farms.

In 2019 they ditched single use plastics - you might have seen their milk in glass bottles, reusable tubs and refill stations.
