Organic blackstrap molasses is extracted during the process of cane sugar production, in which all the benefical nutrients are concentrated into the molasses. This is a natural, unsulphured product and the consistency may vary.

Please note -

Due to a small variance in the thickness of caps on the Meridian Molasses product, some flex or “clicking” has been found, which may resemble a vacuum seal break.

This is not a food safety or quality concern, as these products are not vacuum sealed. The product remains safe as long as the tamper-evident strip remains intact.
