Linseed is the small, reddish-brown or golden-yellow seed of the common flax plant. They contain plant- based omega 3 fatty acids along with fiber and other nutrients. Whole linseeds work well with other grains in cereal, porridge, muesli and flapjacks. One of the most popular uses for linseed is as an egg replacement.
