Folkington's Pure Pressed Cranberry Juice drink is made from the Stevens variety of cranberry grown on the southeastern side of the St Lawrence River, Quebec, Canada. Situated some 500km north of the main N. American cranberry growing regions, Quebec's cooler climate creates an environment that is less dependent on the use of pesticides while also producing a fruit that is slightly sharper in taste.
Tasting notes: Cranberry taste with the typical astringency from the berry but not over-powering, with a fruity backdrop.
Folkington’s
Folkington’s focus on sourcing a handful of high-quality fruit varieties and botanicals to produce their premium range of drinks. They support the same farms and farming communities each year, ensuring both consistency in product quality and taste, but also long-term support for the growers and their communities. They specially select varieties of fruit that make their drinks taste distinctive and delicious, all while keeping food miles to a minimum: 44% of their fruit is British-grown, and all their citrus fruit (40%) comes from Europe. All of their core ingredients are simply pressed, squeezed, or distilled soon after they have been picked and are never over-processed, resulting in their signature fresh and delicious-tasting drinks.
