For over 100 years, Caurnie have been making their soaps, which are especially popular with people who suffer from psoriasis, eczema or sensitive skin. All of their products are hand made using the cold-press method and include extracts of Scottish plants to create a purer, gentler product. All of Caurnie’s soaps and shampoos are created from their humble soaperie in Kirkintilloch, where plants hang to dry in the rafters, and the hundred-year-old soap cutting machine is still in use today.
