The Oatmeal of Alford's Porridge Oats are perfect for porridge!
Recipe suggestion:
40g oatmeal
300ml water or milk
1. Add the oatmeal and water or milk to a saucepan.
2. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Serve in a bowl with your topping of choice.
These porridge oats also be added to smoothies for an extra boost of fibre and to thicken them up.
The Oatmeal of Alford
The Oatmeal of Alford grow their oats in the sun-drenched fields of Aberdeenshire. Once harvested, the oats are then kiln-dried and graded at the farm before being transported to Montgarrie Mill, where they are milled into the oat products we’re familiar with.
The bi-products of the milling process, chaff and husks, are compressed into pellets which are used as feed for their livestock.

100% Gluten Free Oats
All Oatmeal of Alford products are grown in gluten-free surroundings and harvested and processed using dedicated, gluten-free equipment and facilities.
To ensure high standards are maintained, each batch is independently tested to <5ppm gluten.
Although gluten free, all oats contain avenin, a protein which can affect a small number of coeliac sufferers.
